Director’s Report

Kingswood Loves its Families (1)

One thing of which we are metaphysically certain:  no camp appreciates its families more than Kingswood does.  I took loads of photos on those visiting weekends, enough for two reports.  Here is the first one, with more testimonials at bottom.  Enjoy — you deserve it.

I felt like Kingswood was an extension of our parenting! I have noticed that our son has been more helpful, patient and mature since he has returned.

He reported, “Mom you know how they said Kingswood was a camp where everyone was nice and got along? I didn’t think that it could be possible but I found that everyone was kind.”

Our son said Taylor was amazing in the kitchen and it was the best food ever.

THANK YOU for working with our son to make food a nonissue this session. It’s always a struggle for him, but in the three weeks he was at Kingswood he tried chicken wings, shrimp and ham– three foods he has never been willing to try at home. More importantly, he wrote that the camp chef was helping him and that he was eating plenty.

If there were a level above “very satisfied,” we would check that box. Camp was an A+ experience for our son, and we are very grateful to you all for making it so enjoyable.

Love the daily directors report. So light and entertaining, yet serious and full of reminders about what is really important. Sara’s photos are a gift. The videos always give me a terrific picture of what’s happening at Kingswood. I love what I see!

I appreciated that there was no special red carpet thrown down to impress. The boys will want to return if they have had a fun, fulling and nurturing experience

I have 3 boys that have different interests (2 sporty and one not so much) and I’m so happy to have found a camp that makes all 3 happy.
