Sponsorships

After dinner is over, counselors announce activities that they will “sponsor,” often on the spur of the moment. Very common would be the lifeguard sponsoring a soccer game while the soccer coach takes boys out in the canoes. (Accompanied by a lifeguard, of course.) Frisbee golf, box hockey, and pick-up basketball games are other typical evening sponsorships.

Additions or suggestions can come from campers, and a variety of unique options will be available. The “mood of the moment” trumps all else at this satisfying time of day!
