Today has good promise to it. It is warm, but not oppressive. Some counselors, on their day off, are hiking, for example. The kids are participating in a “stations model,” the genius of Mike Wiff. Boys rotate as a cabin group from one activity to another, covering four venues in a couple hours time. Most stops involve creative games, which I predict the campers will enjoy. This afternoon features a few games with our friends from Camp Pemi. After the picnic supper we probably will show the kids a flick, down by the edge of the lake, where everyone can chill out after a very active and productive first week of the new session.
Here are a few mini-reports on happenings I did not get to in any of the thematic efforts of the past week.
