A popular quote from the Kingswood staff manual is: “The staff is everything.”

And it’s so true! It’s the counselors and staff, as role models, leaders, and friends, who make Kingswood so special. And its their unique blend of kindness, approachability, and encouragement that makes campers feel safe, welcomed, and supported, whether its adjusting to life away from home or trying an activity for the first time.

And our 2025 staff may be our strongest staff yet! Over 85% of our staff are returners – which means nearly everyone at Kingswood has deep knowledge of our program and philosophy and is committed to helping campers live the “Kingswood Way.”

Starting this Saturday, we will be posting “Staff Spotlights” so you can learn more about our amazing staff: their experience, areas of expertise, and favorite aspects of camp. Some will be pretty straightforward, while others will be quite tongue-in-cheek (having characters on staff is vital in creating a fun – and funny – camp community).

So check in every so often so you can get better acquainted with the Kingswood staff!
