We are determined to have the best possible facility while still maintaining a rustic atmosphere. We are in the midst of some major projects which should improve everyone’s experience at camp. First of all, we are drastically improving the drainage around the Council Fire and Tramp Field so that they should never be muddy again. Goodbye minerals! The Seasick Crocodile Recording Studio has seen a major renovation, bringing more light and ventilation into the music room. The weight room, “Rocky’s Gym”, has a brand new floor- so beefcakes like Bill Dalton can drop weights on the floor with impunity.
We’ve also been very busy with some soon-to-be revealed upgrades to our website and communication system. More on that in an upcoming Blues Buster. Enjoy the report!

Spanky got his start playing drums and guitar at Kingswood.Spanky has gone on to become a professional musician. It wasn’t long before buddies and bandmates Danny and Mike were perennial staff guys, joining Spanky teaching drums, guitar, and bass.
