It’s a frigid Monday morning here in New Hampshire, and with at least one more potential snow storm in the forecast, we find ourselves thinking more and more about the upcoming summer. It’s less than three months away! It’s hard to believe that in just a few short months, the snow will melt, the lake will thaw, the leaves will appear, the grass will grow, and people will begin to arrive at camp.
This post therefore, will be a study in contrasts, and will show some shots of how camp looks now (completely buried!) with how things will be come mid-June.
We’ll trade a snowed-in Main Lodge for one open for business!
We’ll trade a frozen picnic grove for one filled with happy and well-fed campers!
How about a fishing trip to Indian Pond instead of being stuck indoors?
To be able to enjoy the lake again will be nice!
Anyone else longing for the days when they can just chill outside for hours on end with no need for even a jacket?
Won’t it be nice when it’s warm enough again to create our own slip ‘n slide?
Whatever you enjoy doing at camp, be sure to “think summer” and know that we look forward to seeing you soon!
