Director’s Report

Autumn Session

Alice and I were at camp this past weekend, for yet another wedding.  This one was “merely” for friends and it was such a relief to be present but not in charge of the festivities.   I took loads of photos, and my thoughts on each are captioned below.   Oh, and I found the TREASURE mentioned in last week’s report.  There is another great hint somewhere in the pictures which follow:

Camp should have been open on this day!
Nature Photography opportunities abounded.
Where were you when we could have been playing hoops?
The soccer field had just been mowed and was lush!
Go Nationals!
I can hear Klaus’s voice. Can’t you?
I showed Alice our new “secret trail” ….
to the exceptionally rare giant pitcher plant bog.
You could have helped Dan renovate the kitchen.
Charmion was there and when she discovered Dan’s kitchen remodeling…
she jumped into the lake!
Sam paid a visit and was outraged to discover an ancient ping-pong ladder, showing Klaus ahead of him in the standings!
Wendy was out there attempting to catch our dinner.
But, there was plenty to eat and drink at the wedding.
All of this “camp” action exhausted me, so I took a nap!
