Our vacation in Anguilla was amazing. We ran on the beach, swam, read, and took an Internet vacation. We weren’t the only Kingswood people on the island.
Now that the holidays are behind us, we have our sights set on several exciting camp events on the calendar in the next 6 weeks.
Open Houses
While we were in Anguilla, we met a family with a 10-year-old son who was interested in hearing all about camp. We invited them to an open house! You can help us spread the word about camp by extending the invitation to parents of camp-age boys in these areas to attend an open house. Open houses are often our most effective way to meet, get to know, and recruit new campers. Current campers are welcome to attend as well to help us present and answer questions about camp.
Friday, February 6 – Flannery Home, Manhattan, NY
Tuesday, February 17 at 5 p.m. – The Hill School, Middleburg, VA
Thursday, February 19 – Fogarty Home, Boca Raton, FL
It will be great to see Will and James at their home in Boca Raton next month.
We are grateful to all the families who have hosted an event in the past and will host this year.
Alumni Events
One of our goals this year is to build up our alumni connections. We will hold two alumni gatherings -a chance for former campers and staff to get together to reconnect and reminisce. More details to follow – pencil in these dates if you are near either location!
Saturday, February 7 – NYC
Monday, February 16 – DC
Camp Fairs
If you live in or near any of the following locations, come see us at a camp fair. We’ll post specific locations and times on Facebook before each fair. These are great opportunities to chat with us and be on hand to speak to potential campers.

Saturday, January 24 – Sidwell Friends, Washington, DC
Sunday, January 25 – Sudbury, MA
Wednesday, January 28 – Greenwich, CT
