Celebrating a Great Session

July 21, 2023

It was such a beautiful day that I could not resist taking a zillion photos.

We had a wake surf competition in the Ferrari boat and I got invited to be one of the judges, along with Klaus and Ella.

Nathan and Amanda have kept the Ferrari boat busy the entire session.  Kudos to them.

Parents visiting this weekend might want to stop by the lost and found table, which might be indoors due to predicted showers.  Sorry about that.

Des is seen taking an ice bath in a barrel after leading long hikes two days in a row.

Boys who have been at Kingswood five years or longer were treated to steak at last evening’s picnic.  Nearly 90 pieces of meat went onto the grill!

We had a calm lake for the picnic, the best condition possible.

Some CIT’s sported bow ties for the occasion.

At the final concert at the Theater in the Pines, we gave out lots of camp gear.

Second year patrons got tumblers.

The Fifth year group were honored with a neat shirt with the number 5.

Gabe and Levi were honored for their 10th camp summer.

The big gift for all 6 year and longer personnel was a towel showing a topographic map of Lake Tarleton.

The music featured many camper-led performances , Matthew’s solo being among the better acts.

Do indeed check out the Mt. Madison/Mt Madison album.

I defy any camp to do better at allowing families to be flies on the wall while their children are away.
