We were back at camp this past weekend. The place has never looked better. Here’s a peek!
Of course, the gardens wait until now….to reach their prime.The autumn brings different hues and shadows…and a seasoned Kingswood person would know in an instant…that it was summer no longer.However, at certain times of day …at various venues about the grounds…the only thing missing is the gleeful chatter of boys.While autumn Kingswood is gorgeous without doubt…it can be a bit eerie at times.The work on the Waterfront project continues apace…and the new beach, with sand added…is truly breathtaking.Not nearly complete, the beach to this point is 117 feet in length…with about 50 feet to go to reach the docks.The rocky wall promises to be a favorite sitting area for those watching water craft coming and going along the beach.The sparkling water lilies …added to the luster of a perfect camp visit.

The more I see pictures like these, the more I realize how much I miss the old days at Kingswood Camp. Best summers ever!
