Director’s Report

Eighty Pages of Kingswood

Today’s Blues Buster is for those of you who already are “camp sick,” meaning you have started counting the days until Summer 2013.  Perhaps, Sara’s 2012 Kingswood Yearbook may help relive the pain of having to wait all these many weeks and months until we start up again.

We received our copy of the First Session yearbook and it is 80+ full color pages of camp glee.  What a coffee table book with a potential long “shelf life” it is.  One cannot help but browsing from start to finish.  We are no fools to be offering complimentary copies of the 2013 volume for those who enroll early for next summer (by Halloween.)

Below are  screenshots of  six different pages of the 2012 issue.  Note that each cabin has its group page, as well as individual pictures of each boy in the bunk.  Then, there are quite a few special activity pages such as those from first session Egg Drop and the Fourth of July parade.  Numerous nature photos grace the pages, such as those beautiful fireworks from the Lyme show.  Lastly, there are pages of routine camp scenes with boys hanging out etc.

Sara wants you to know she can order more copies for presents as we approach the Holiday season.  Not bad birthday presents either.  swipfler@gmail.com

Sara has the second session yearbook just about ready to be mailed.  But, as I do not yet have a copy, I put several additional photos of second session Egg Drop into today’s report, so that no session gets overlooked.  There will be far better second session photos in that yearbook than these!
