Here is a story which I trust is unique to Kingswood.

The staff keeps a secret list of boys who perform “good deeds.”  Kids do not realize we are on the lookout for such selfless actions.  There is no way a youngster can audition to be selected, nor could he ever hope to lull us into thinking he was doing nice things just for the sake of being a good guy when, in truth, he was manipulating his way onto the list.  So, in short, the boys featured below are authentic candidates to be treated to ice cream at Fat Bob’s.

A couple more points:  1.  Never will we tell the boys why they were chosen.   There is no rubric for fakers to emulate!!   “Just keep being the same helpful person you are today, and you’ll be on plenty of good deed doer lists in the future,” we informed the winners.  2.  To the other campers, we acknowledged,  “Lots of you boys at Kingswood surely also could  have been picked,  so you can hope next time to be discovered.”  3.  Torrance and Spencer, shown last, were busy playing football so the other boys brought them their ice cream for consumption at camp.
