Sunday continental breakfast is going on and the three-day hike to the rugged Mahoosuc Notch area is preparing for launch at any second. “Take plenty of water bottles,” I urged them, though clearly they had already thought of that! I am envious of their youth and resilience.
The camp meeting discussion topics are pasted below. I just heard Alice say “There are no bullies at Kingswood,” and I have to agree that this is the nicest collection of boys we have garnered in quite some time. Oh, like anywhere else, kids have to be reminded from time to time on how to behave properly — hence the conversation slated for later on this morning. But, as I sit here writing these words, I am one proud camp director in that I have the sort of community one could seemingly only wish for.
