Director’s Report

Water, Water, Everywhere

Unusual June weather, to be sure, continues.  The first photo below was taken two hours ago, as we awoke to an overcast morning — “Lowery,” is the New England word for it.  No big deal at all, as the program directors already have an aggressive plan for the day.  I am especially proud of the decision to run a “Varsity” level hike up the back side of Mt. Moosilauke.  The Beaver Brook Trail is one of the steepest and prettiest in all the White Mountains.  The brook dances its way across the rocks for a few miles.  Today, it should be Niagara Falls.  More on this, perhaps, tomorrow.  But, below are photos of yesterday’s morning waterfront clinics, conducted in steamy, humid conditions.  There was nary a complaint, I assure you.
