Today we will have some fun observing several of your 2016 counselors as they looked as campers. These guys really understand Kingswood, having witnessed camp from both the camper and staff perspective. “Experienced Kingswood Hands” is one of our greatest assets.
Peter, now an esteemed member of Varsity Club Presidential, once was a first time camper enrolled in Klaus’s tennis clinic.
Speaking of Klaus, he spins everything, including his pizza.
Speaking of spinning, Hugh and Max are careful to spin the fooseball bars, instead of lean on them.
Speaking of leaning on things, the Wipfler family has been leaning on each other to deliver great summers for the past 32 years. Here we are in 1992.
Speaking of family, Todd, here on the right for his drum clinic on the lake, has been Kingswood family for most of those 32 years.
Speaking of drum clinics, where do you think Spanky got his musical start? At Kingswood, of course.
Speaking of starts, here are Liam and Curly before the start of a little league baseball game.
Speaking of games, Max participates in the Marimba game on Taco Day at Table Two.
Speaking of food, here’s a picture from an ice cream party. Griff will be dishing out the ice cream this summer and Minchin is hopeful to be there too!
Speaking of ice cream, Caden fondly remembers Mama’s Magic Midnight Munching Sauce.
And, finally, remembering most fondly, there’s little Bobby Wiff (blond kid in the middle) in his first camper summer, 1952 at Camp Norway in nearby Vermont.
Next Two Weeks: Hiking videos and Sara’s “retro” staff photos. Really good stuff coming. Don’t miss it.
