Spectacular Color

NOBODY takes better action photos than Sara does.  She should work for Sports Illustrated, but that would never happen due to her total loyalty to Kingswood.  The sun returned yesterday, and with it came some fantastic colors.  But, at first, Sara had daughter Anya clinging to her and could not shoot.  “Nothing drives me crazier than not being able to take pictures when the weather is so perfect,” she lamented.  Take a look at her latest album and I dare you to accuse me of playing family favorites!

Sara has a million dollar camera compared to my two dollar one but I tried to capture some of the color of the late afternoon.  Compared to the dismal morning, it was a stunning reversal.  The program guys were on the ball, however, and the Pirate Cove overnight shoved off as planned and some hearty fellows gathered in the dining room to prepare sandwiches kept in the refrigerator overnight in anticipation of a very early morning departure to Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the northeast.

That Washington excursion had been postponed for one day due to weather but we have enough equipment, vans and experienced adult hikers to offer another A-LEVEL hike to the Franconia. It just occurred to me that in this modern communication age, I could go to the counselor Slack page and copy/paste the names of the boys on the trip to Washington.

I just figured out how to get lists off the staff communication application and paste two of them at bottom.  I might come back later and add more lists if they are put up on Slack.  Gotta go! I have a busy day.  Enjoy
