Kingswood Around the Globe

Over the past several years, I have received quite a few photos from Kingswood families. All feature boys wearing a camp T-shirt in some exotic place. Starting today, please do the following:

1. Wear your Kingswood gear on special occasions.

2. Take a picture.

3. Send it to me for inclusion in this on-going photo essay.

: That’s me, at center, in 1951 at Camp Norway. Not exactly “Kingswood Around the Globe,” but I was surely thinking about it, even way back then!

: Sixty years later, I played golf in Madrid, SPAIN, wearing my Kingswood cap.

: Try as I might, I could not persuade Nick to abandon the one and only shirt he wore on the entire Appalachian Trail. But, he did have Kingswood on his mind!

: So, now the game begins in earnest. Here is Danny and his family on La Plata Peak in Colorado.

: The Bundy clan found The Grand Canal in Venice, Italy.

: Des made it all the way to the summit of Kilimanjaro. So did that Kingswood T.; Ethan and Davison joined forces to conquer the Great Wall of China.
