I have had a photo file named “Kingswood Around the Globe” for quite some time. I got the idea when Robin Ascher emailed me from China: “We are here at the Great Wall but David says he’d rather be at Kingswood.” So, when my friend Charles, a Kingswood parent, sent me a picture of son James adorned in his Kingswood t-shirt at the playoff game in Baltimore, today’s Blues Buster came to fruition.
Go through your photo files and find any good shot of your son — wearing Kingswood gear — and send it to us. We promise to post these on several different social media, so that word gets around that Kingswood boys go to exotic places. Of course, this can include one’s own bedroom, decorated with Kingswood collages, frisbees and the like. Moreover, when you DO travel to faraway spots, take that Kingswood shirt or cap along for the ride. Come the day when a Kingswood t-shirt is spotted on the moon, that’s the day we declare an extra dividend for all!

When Des sent me this pic of him and friends on Mt. Kilimanjaro in eastern Africa, it became the first pic in the file.

Don’t miss the spectacular Sagrada Familia when you travel to Barcelona, and, like Rosey, wear a Kingswood shirt!

Jaime sports his treasured Kingswood cap at the Iron Gate Golf Club in Madrid. I took this photo, shortly after Jaime offered to cut down the tree that was blocking my shot!

On that same trip, camp paraphernalia made it to the tip top of the Himalayan Range. “It’s a simple ridge run, boys,” I was overheard to have uttered by Baibhav’s brother-in-law and father.

But, obviously, more than one Kingswood progeny has made it to the Great Wall of China. See if you can top this one with your photo!
