Director’s Report

Big Fish

Kingswood is necessarily an older camp.  And, that is a very good thing.  Older campers are mostly returning campers and returning campers have been invited to come back, as they add so much good fellowship to Kingswood.  Mrs. Wipfler, Rob and I spent the past weekend in New York, visiting Kingswood prospects for 2015, most of whom were younger boys.  When asked about camp demographics, we bragged about the inevitability of friendships cutting deeply across all age lines.  We have been told by outside camp placement agents that all camps claim to have a “oneness” of community, but that at Kingswood it really is the truth.  So, here are a few of those older, big fish, whom we can count on to be at camp this coming summer.  Huzzahs!
