Downtown Washington today is a mess. Please put somebody in charge who knows how to get things done.Security along Pennsylvania Avenue will be very tight due to …the huge number of …crazy people certain to be in attendance.Along the parade route, there are certain to be many …inaugural mementos and keepsakes, along with…plenty of good food.Dress appropriately for the solemnity of the occasion…unless, of course, it is cold outside or you prefer not to be seen with the Obama crowd.Take plenty of pictures…and throw things like foam balls and confetti.Enjoy the parade…and maybe some of Kingswood’s Washington elite will be walking in it.Enjoy each float as it passes by…but pray for not too many breakdowns!Look for places to stay warm. Hey — an idea. Let’s use Inauguration day for a national bonfire. There is plenty of junk in this country to burn.Listen carefully to Mr. Obama’s Inaugural Address, whether it contains sweet music…or, fire and brimstone!But, most importantly of all, if you get lucky enough to be invited to an Inaugural Ball, …please have the common courtesy to dance with the one who brung ya!
