The campers have been gone for two weeks but camp has not slowed down at all. The big story is the replacement of the benches in the council circle. We have been planning on this upgrade for some time now, but a wedding held at camp this past Saturday — ceremony in the circle — created that sense of urgency to get the job done by a time certain. George and Dan were seen shoveling up saw dust late Friday afternoon as the bride and groom plus 180 guests were coming onto the property. Here are some pix from the past several days here in Paradise. (Click on any photo to enlarge it.)

Many shades of green and blue appear on the far shore of Mother T

Same day, same vista

We have spent plenty of time on the lake

First session families, especially, will appreciate this view of “The Theater IN the Pines”

While we do not like our tranquility interrupted that often, George’s arrival was most welcomed

The first bench is placed

Starting to take shape

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous for as long as we can recall

The late summer gardens came full just before company arrived

The bride even mingled with the hydrangeas before the ceremony

And, here is the setting she came into moments later
